When you visit our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display the website to you:
3) Hosting & content delivery network
For the hosting of our website and the presentation of the page content, we use a provider that provides its services itself or through selected subcontractors exclusively on servers within the European Union.
All data collected on our website is processed on these servers.
We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
4) Cookies
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, we use cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your end device. Some of these cookies are automatically deleted after you close your browser (so-called „session cookies“), while others remain on your device for longer and enable page settings to be saved (so-called „persistent cookies“). In the latter case, you can find the storage period in the cookie settings overview of your web browser.
If personal data is also processed by individual cookies used by us, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR either for the execution of the contract, in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR in the case of consent given or in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR to safeguard our legitimate interests in the best possible functionality of the website and a customer-friendly and effective design of the page visit.
You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and can decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general.

5) Making contact
When you contact us (e.g. via contact form or e-mail), personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and responding to your enquiry and only to the extent necessary for this purpose.
The legal basis for the processing of this data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Deletion of your customer account is possible at any time and can be done by sending a message to the above-mentioned address of the controller. After deletion of your customer account, your data will be deleted, provided that all contracts concluded through it have been fully processed, there are no legal retention periods to the contrary and we have no legitimate interest in further storage.
7) Use of customer data for direct advertising
7.1 Registration for our e-mail newsletter
If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is your e-mail address. The provision of further data is voluntary and is used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending newsletters, which ensures that you only receive newsletters if you have expressly confirmed your consent to receive the newsletter by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address provided.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to use your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. We store your IP address entered by the Internet service provider (ISP) as well as the date and time of registration in order to be able to trace any possible misuse of your e-mail address at a later date. The data we collect when you register for the newsletter is used strictly for the intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the link provided in the newsletter or by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. Once you have cancelled your subscription, your e-mail address will be deleted from our newsletter mailing list immediately, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
7.2 Sending the e-mail newsletter to existing customers
If you have provided us with your e-mail address when purchasing goods or services, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers for similar goods or services to those already purchased from our range by e-mail. In accordance with Section 7 (3) UWG, we do not need to obtain separate consent from you for this. In this respect, data processing is carried out solely on the basis of our legitimate interest in personalised direct advertising in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If you have initially objected to the use of your email address for this purpose, we will not send you any emails.
You are entitled to object to the use of your e-mail address for the aforementioned advertising purpose at any time with effect for the future by sending a message to the controller named at the beginning. You will only incur transmission costs for this in accordance with the basic tariffs. After receipt of your objection, the use of your e-mail address for advertising purposes will be discontinued immediately.
7.3 Notification of product availability by e-mail
For items that are temporarily unavailable, you can register to receive e-mail notifications of product availability. We will send you a one-off e-mail notification about the availability of the item you have selected. Only your e-mail address is required to receive this notification. The provision of further data is voluntary and may be used to address you personally. We use the so-called double opt-in procedure for sending emails, which ensures that you only receive a notification if you have expressly confirmed your consent to this by clicking on a verification link sent to the email address provided.
The data collected by us when you register for our e-mail notification service for the availability of goods is used strictly for the intended purpose.
You can unsubscribe from the availability notifications at any time by sending a corresponding message to the controller named at the beginning. After unsubscribing, your e-mail address will be deleted immediately from our mailing list set up for this purpose, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
8) Data processing for order processing
8.1 Insofar as necessary for contract processing for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR.
If we owe you updates for goods with digital elements or for digital products on the basis of a corresponding contract, we will process the contact details you provided when placing the order in order to inform you personally within the scope of our statutory information obligations pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. Your contact details will be used strictly for the purpose of notifying you of updates owed by us and will only be processed by us for this purpose to the extent that this is necessary for the respective information.
To process your order, we also work together with the following service provider(s), who support us in whole or in part in the fulfilment of concluded contracts. Certain personal data is transmitted to these service providers in accordance with the following information.
8.2 Transfer of personal data to shipping service providers
9) Web analysis services
Microsoft Clarity
This website uses the web analysis service of the following provider: Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399 USA
With the help of cookies and/or comparable technologies (tracking pixels, web beacons, algorithms for reading end device and browser information), the service collects and stores pseudonymised visitor data, including information about the end device used, such as the IP address and browser information, in order to evaluate it for statistical analyses of usage behaviour on our website and to create pseudonymised usage profiles. Among other things, this makes it possible to analyse movement patterns (so-called heat maps), which show the duration of page visits and interactions with page content (e.g. text input, scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs). Pseudonymisation rules out the possibility of direct personal identification. Your personal data is not merged with clear data collected in any other way.
All processing described above, in particular the reading or storage of information on the end device used, will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.
We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.
10) Page functionalities
10.1 Pinterest plugins
Our website uses plugins from the social network of the following provider Pinterest Europe Ltd, Palmerston House, 2nd Floor, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, Ireland
These plugins enable direct interaction with content on the social network.
In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the plugins are initially deactivated and integrated into the page using the so-called „2-click“ or „Shariff“ solution.
This integration ensures that no connection to the provider's servers is established when a page of our website containing such plugins is accessed.
Your browser only establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers when you activate the plugins and thus give your consent to the transfer of data in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Here, regardless of whether you have logged into an existing user profile, a certain amount of information about the device you are using (including your IP address), your browser and your page history is transmitted to the provider and may be processed there.
If you are logged into an existing user profile on the provider's social network, information on interactions carried out via the plugins will also be published there and displayed to your contacts.
You can revoke your consent at any time by deactivating the activated plugin by clicking on it again. However, the cancellation has no influence on the data that has already been transferred to the provider.
Data may also be transferred to: Pinterest Inc., USA
We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
For the transfer of data to the USA, the provider refers to standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, which are intended to ensure compliance with the European level of data protection.
10.2 - Google reCAPTCHA
On this website we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland
Data may also be transmitted to: Google LLC, USA.
For the visual design of the captcha window, the provider uses „Google Fonts“, i.e. fonts downloaded from the Internet by Google. No information other than that already transmitted to Google via the ReCaptcha functionality is processed.
The service checks whether an entry is made by a natural person or abusively by machine and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar automated malicious access. To ensure that an action is carried out by a person and not by an automated bot, the provider collects the IP address of the end device used, identification data of the browser and operating system type used as well as the date and duration of the visit and transmits these to the provider's servers for evaluation. This may involve the use of cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored in the browser of the end device.
If the processing described above is carried out on the basis of cookies, these will only be set if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.
If the processing described above is carried out without the use of cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in determining individual responsibility on the Internet and avoiding misuse and spam in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
10.3 Google Translate
This website uses the translation service „Google Translate“ from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland („Google“) via an API integration. In order for the translation to be displayed automatically after you have selected a national language, the browser you are using connects to Google's servers. In doing so, certain browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to Google.
Google may use so-called „cookies“, i.e. small text files that are stored on your end device, to save the language settings. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there.
The processing described above may also involve transmission to the servers of Google LLC. in the USA.
If cookies are also set when Google Translate is used, the processing described above will only be carried out if you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service in the „cookie consent tool“ provided on the website.
If no cookies are set, the processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the optimal marketing of our offer and the wide-reaching design of our website.
For data transfers to the USA, the provider has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

11) Tools and miscellaneous
11.1 - Lexware Office
We use the cloud-based accounting software service of the following provider to handle our accounting: Haufe-Lexware GmbH & Co. KG, Munzinger Straße 9, 79111 Freiburg, Germany
The provider processes incoming and outgoing invoices and, where applicable, the bank transactions of our company in order to automatically record invoices, match them to the transactions and create the financial accounting from this in a partially automated process.
If personal data is also processed in this context, the processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in the efficient organisation and documentation of our business processes in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
11.2 Cookie consent tool
This website uses a so-called „cookie consent tool“ to obtain effective user consent for cookies and cookie-based applications that require consent. The „cookie consent tool“ is displayed to users when they access the website in the form of an interactive user interface on which consent for certain cookies and/or cookie-based applications can be given by ticking a box. By using the tool, all cookies/services requiring consent are only loaded if the respective user gives their consent by ticking the relevant box. This ensures that such cookies are only set on the user's end device if consent has been granted.
The tool sets technically necessary cookies to save your cookie preferences. Personal user data is not processed in this process.
If, in individual cases, personal data (such as the IP address) is processed for the purpose of storing, assigning or logging cookie settings, this is done in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in legally compliant, user-specific and user-friendly consent management for cookies and thus in a legally compliant design of our website.
Another legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR. As the controller, we are subject to the legal obligation to make the use of technically unnecessary cookies dependent on the respective user consent.
Where necessary, we have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which ensures the protection of the data of our website visitors and prohibits unauthorised disclosure to third parties.
Further information about the operator and the setting options of the cookie consent tool can be found directly in the corresponding user interface on our website.
12) Rights of the data subject
12.1 The applicable data protection law grants you the following data subject rights (information and intervention rights) vis-à-vis the controller with regard to the processing of your personal data, whereby reference is made to the stated legal basis for the respective exercise requirements:
13) Duration of storage of personal data
The duration of the storage of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of processing and - if relevant - additionally by the respective statutory retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law).
When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, the data concerned will be stored until you revoke your consent.
If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed within the framework of legal or similar obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfilment or contract initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.
When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data will be stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
When processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until you exercise your right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR.
Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
